Welcome to The Press Radio. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website and subscription services. By accessing our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use The Press Radio.

1. About The Press Radio

The Press Radio is an online news platform operated as a general partnership, providing curated African and international news to a global audience. Our mission is to keep the African diaspora and interested readers worldwide informed, connected, and engaged with quality journalism from and about Africa.

Our services include access to news articles, features, analysis, and other editorial content through our website and any associated digital platforms (collectively, the "Services").

2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting, browsing, or subscribing to The Press Radio, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age, or are accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian;
  • Have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service;
  • Agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email.

3. Subscriptions

3.1 Subscription Plans

The Press Radio offers the following subscription options:

  • Monthly Subscription: Billed once per month on the date of subscription.
  • Annual Subscription: Billed once per year, which may be offered at a discounted rate compared to the monthly plan.

Subscription fees are stated at the point of purchase and are subject to change with prior notice to subscribers.

3.2 Billing and Payment

By subscribing, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis at the start of each billing period. You are responsible for ensuring your payment information is current and accurate. All transactions are processed in the currency displayed at checkout. International users are responsible for any applicable currency conversion fees or bank charges.

3.3 Free Trials

From time to time, we may offer free trial periods. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and you will be charged accordingly.

3.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Services until that date. We do not offer refunds for unused portions of a subscription period, except where required by applicable law.

3.5 Refunds

Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us within 14 days of the charge. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that fall outside this window or do not meet our refund criteria.

4. Account Registration

To access subscriber content, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information;
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials;
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account;
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe have been compromised.

5. Access and Use of Content
