Popular Ghanaian preacher and founder of Anointed Palace Chapel, Rev. Isaac Kwaku Antwi, widely known as Rev. Obofour, has strongly denied rumours alleging that he killed his eldest children, describing the claims as false, malicious, and harmful.
Addressing his congregation during a church service, the outspoken pastor publicly presented his children to members of the church in a symbolic move aimed at dispelling the disturbing allegations circulating on social media and other platforms.
The rumours, which had gained traction online, accused Rev. Obofour of allegedly killing his eldest children under mysterious circumstances. These claims sparked widespread public reactions, with many people expressing shock and concern over the unverified reports.
In his response, Rev. Obofour firmly dismissed the allegations, stating that the stories were completely untrue and were being deliberately spread to tarnish his image and damage his reputation. He emphasized that the accusations had no factual basis and were driven by malice rather than truth.
By bringing his children before the congregation, the preacher sought to provide visible proof that the claims were false. He explained that he would not have responded to the rumours, but the seriousness of the accusations and their impact on his family made it necessary for him to address the matter publicly.
Rev. Obofour also expressed concern about the emotional and psychological effects such false stories could have on innocent family members, especially children, noting that reckless allegations can cause long-term harm beyond public perception.
He further urged the public to be cautious about believing and sharing unverified information, particularly on social media, where false narratives can spread rapidly without accountability. According to him, the culture of spreading rumours without evidence undermines truth, justice, and responsible communication.
The pastor reaffirmed his commitment to his ministry and family, stating that no false accusation would distract him from his spiritual responsibilities and personal values. He called on his followers and the general public to focus on truth, peace, and unity rather than sensationalism.
The incident has once again highlighted the dangers of misinformation and the serious consequences it can have on individuals, families, and public figures, especially in the digital age where rumours can quickly become widely accepted as fact.
